We have a copy of Kitty Show: Birds and Video Catnip and often play them to entertain the cats.

Day 3 | Da bird arrives

Day 3 - Da Bird arrived today, and Tiger enjoys it very much. He likes to run off with the feathers in his mouth after he caught it, dragging the stick (and me) along with him.

Tiger is over-weight - we feed him using his treatball, so he gets some exercise while eating.

Big Ginge + Tiger | The second day

Big Ginge have stopped hissing at Tiger, and they now sit under the bed/couch together, and Tiger always wants to join in whatever Big Ginge is doing, whether it is a trip to the litterbox or playing with mouse toys.

There is still slight discharge from Big Ginge's right eye, but it is nice to see him playing with the new mouse toys that Sarah got today.

We weighed both cats and found out that Tiger is heavier that Ginge even though they look about the same size.

Big Ginge

Big Ginge was comfortable with his new home and humans almost immediately. He has a good temperament and is happy to receive human attention. Healthy appetite, knows how to use the litter tray. Slight lethargy, and a bit of discharge from his eyes. He likes to use the carpet instead of the scratching post.

He tolerates Tiger, but hisses when Tiger gets too close.

Tiger

Tiger was wary at first but got comfortable within only a few hours. He is very vocal and likes lots of human interaction. He also has a healthy appetite. He knows how to use a treat ball, and we use it to feed him in order to help him lose weight. Used the litter box himself without any prompt. Although he is overweight, Tiger is very active and loves to explore and jump onto high places.

Tiger is interested in Big Ginge and likes to follow him around and sniff at him, despite being hissed and swiped at when he gets close.
